Freedom has accompanied people for hundreds of thousands of years and has been pursued by people for hundreds of thousands of years as well. From the day that people came into being, nature has brought people irresistible gear and subsistence pressure , but the eagerness for freedom at the same time .Therefore, people have been multiplying, seeding and living for hundreds of thousands of years to overcome the fear and to looking for freedom. In the history of human thought, the issue of relation between philosophy and freedom is an old philosophy issue. As a kind of world and life outlook, intelligence subject or a theory, philosophy can direct people's performing and thinking and help people get on with their work . So it's impossible for philosophy not to study freedom and not to have some internal relations with freedom itself. Consequently, while thinking about these questions, philosophers give their own answers to them. The specific understanding for freedom of each philosopher is centralized reflection on spirits of his age as well as the very answer to his life. The thinking and pursuit for freedom are the foundation of setting and working for a human as a "human" and the terminal excuse for people to live on unceasingly. Among the various freedom theories Spinoza's persistence in the reason of freedom are constantly influencing people deeply , which inspires people to pay close attention to the freedom of life and arouses the confidence to seek freedom. The theory attempts to clear up again the way of freedom development which grows with people and draws back to people increasingly. After analyzing the different understandings on freedom in the development of western philosophy. Thus, we can see clearly the freedom situation of Spinoza's age . After the old Greek and the Middle Ages, what Spinoza faced is no longer a " naive child " but a "mature young man ". Therefore, what he needs to do is to lead it to become strong and understand the reality. Even though Spinoza has completed his task effectively, he goes too further on his way to "natural Gods" so that people are bound to the laws of nature firmly , which goes against the people's nature of freedom. As a result, there appeared Kant's reasonable thinking for freedom and Mark's realistic return of human's freedom later.
