The Investigation Of Ningbo Textile Industry's Competitiveness By GEM Model

The development of the studies on industrial competitiveness has impacted many countries and regions deeply, and it has being one of the hot problems in economic geology, economic .management and sociology .Furthermore ,it has arisen much interest from bureaus of determination and industrial planning. Textile and clothing industrial has been in the sight of one of the eminent industrial in Ningbo city ,so it was attach importance of the government and academia .Because this the studies on the Textile and clothing industrial has became an signifiable problem which not only has academic background but also has realistic meaning.After we take part in WTO , the Textile and clothing industrial of Ningbo in face of many new challenges and opportunity. Because the difference of devise and point of view these old competitiveness model was difficult to analyse the Textile and clothing industrial of Ningbo from figure. So we can introduce a new competitiveness model which named :Groundings Enterprises and Markets Model .GEM model investigate the Textile and clothing industrial of Ningbo in six aspect which is Resource and Establishment ; provider and accessorial industrial, the framework stratagem and competition ;native market and exterior market .So that GEM model can give assured figure of the advantage and shortage in Ningbo Textile and clothing industrial.In order to complete this paper .professor Qingliang Gu gives me many help .We came to Ningbo several times so we can get a lots of full and accurate date from questionnaire .visiting and review .The paper is divided into five parts .Its structure and main content are summarized as followings :The first part is introduction .It briefly presents the research background and significance and illustrates main thinking and methods by introducing presents situation home and abroad .The second part deals with the retrospect of the fundamental theory and evaluating method of the industrial competitiveness. In this part there are three aspects :The first aspect reviews the industrial competitiveness theory of domestic and overseas .The second part is the concise summary of the evaluating indexes and methods finished by predecessors .The third part introduced a new model which named GEM model and wealso take it make a compare with Poter's theory of competitive advantage and the industrial competitiveness.The third part is the summarize of Ningbo Textile and clothing industrial's actuality which have three aspect that is development condition .actuality and configuration .There are plenty of figure and chart to reflect it.In the fourth part ,we using the GEM model analyse Ningbo Textile and clothing industrial and give exact mark to it .We study it from six aspect which is Resource and Establishment ; provider and accessorial industrial, the framework stratagem and competition ;native market and exterior market.The fifth part is some advices and conclusion .寇强(产业经济学)Supervised by: 顾庆良,李廷...
