Optimization And Simulation Study On Passenger Flow In Airport Terminals

Along with the more quick rhythms of life and more competitive society, time is taking more attention of people. The development of transportation bring more convenient and save more time for passengers. However, the joints between vehicles are becoming bottleneck with the speeding up of vehicles. Especially, time-consuming terrestrial transportation, trivial procedures and long time waiting in the airport terminal, impact the civil aviation in the competition with railroad and highroad. How to make passenger process more quick and convenient is an important issue in the development of aviation transportation, as well as in real practice. This thesis is a subproject "Convenient and Speedup Study in Civil Aviation Transportation System", imbursed by General Administration of Civil Aviation of China. This subproject includes two parts, one is the simulation of passenger flow in aviation terminal, the other is the optimization of roadside transportation of civil aviation. The thought of balancement in whole procedure and procedure reengineer are expounded in this paper, and the system will help supervisors to make decision by simulation models. Also, this paper studies on roadside transportation of civil aviation. We put forward "Volitant Terminal", which combines high-speed vehicles and paralleling passenger process to make up the deficiency of traditional terminal. Further more, the study comprises of practice and profit mode.
