Under the knowledge economical era, the crucial factor of a enterprise to keep its innovation advantage is making full use of the employee's intelligence capital well. Knowledge teams are not only important platforms used by knowledge employees to verify their value but also the performance units of enterprises used to promote their competition capability. The capability of managing knowledge teams effectively has become a kind of core competence of enterprises.But the common mode of production in a group will usually make internal "Free Rider" effect in teams become obvious (Alchain & Demseiz). And the knowledge employees are main members in a knowledge team and they are special groups. They are engaged in mental work mainly, motility, and understand well to their realm, usually know their work much more than their superior. Whether their potential develop and work responsible for the company cannot predict certainly. Therefore it seems to very important to establish appropriately motivation mechanism to promote performance and reduce "Free Rider" effect for knowledge teams.This paper should analyze these questions from the angles of information economics, management, organizational behavior and psychology and put forward a series of incentive ways for knowledge teams.First, this paper should put foreword the concept and analyze the characteristics of knowledge team, then analyze its role in enterprises and the essence of operating and motivational problem.Second, based on analyzing the motivation mode of Homstrom, thispaper will put forward that profit distribution mechanism is very important for knowledge teams, and analyze the profits distribution mechanism how to apply in knowledge teams.Furthermore, through analyzing hypothesis of human nature, this paper makes a discussion about the motivation principle of knowledge teams, and establish the incentive mode of knowledge teams from the angle of management, then point out that the reasonable and valid performance evaluation is an important aspect to incentive the knowledge employee.Finally, through analyzing the role of psychological contract in knowledge teams, we can conclude that it forms psychological contract among the employees is a effective path to improving teams performance.With the knowledge economy coming, it will become more and more common for companies to use knowledge teams as their operation method. This paper manages to make a comprehensive discussion about knowledge teams motivational problems and the establishment of motivational mechanism, which is expected to be helpful to the practice of team management in Chinese technology enterprise.
