| Buddhism is one of the most widely and deeply influential religions. Zen is not only an important branch of Buddhism but also the dominant one in Chinese Buddhism. Since Zen was defused oversea by the 12th century, the believers of it have now been found anywhere in the globe. Zen has played an extremely important role in the Chinese culture, affected how Chinese people think and live, and now it still exerts a non-substitute function. The spirit and culture of Zen contain abundant wisdom of daily life, principles of education, and the philosophy of management. It would be deemed a kind of wisdom in life rather than a religious belief. Thus, the comprehensive development in Zen culture has a great potential.Ma Zudao, The 8th master of Zen, was born in the city of Shi fang- the famous Buddhist center in western Sichuan. The Shi fang Luohan temple was the place where Ma Zudao lived and sermonized. Shi fang has the resource of the complex traveling program focusing at Master Ma' s Zen culture. My project is based on this.This project located in the Northern new district, the best place in Shifang. The planning area is up to 2, 000 acre and the 1st round investment will take 235 acre, in the center of the square area enclosed by Shifang Avenue Gulou Street Yong street Yinhua Avenue. The project is named with "xichuanfodu" , aiming at forging a world class religious traveling and folk-costume traveling garden based on theMaster Ma' s Zen culture. By the advantage of, this project would get profit promptly through the estate projects and then develop constantly through travel projects, training projects and brand-management.The project of "xichuanfodu" has a satisfied value in investing, economy, city zoology, society, and a significant value in culture. The accomplished project would greatly accelerate the economical, social and cultural development of Shifang, especially enhance the city-management there. Meanwhile, it would benefit the advertising of Chinese traditional culture.
