The Medicare system has changed a lot in China, and gives a great chance for medical insurance business to develop. But big claim is a significant financial problem of the medical insurance business, which means that risk management is crucial for the insurance company to grasp the development chance. It is generally believed that the big amount and interact influence of risk factors make the medical insurance risk management become very hard in the whole world. So it is meaningful both theoretically and practically to study on the analysis method and application of medical insurance risk factors for the medical insurance risk management, especially in china.This study is mainly a practical one. It focuses on exploring statistical methods for the analysis on medical insurance risk factors, with emphasis on the industrial and professional characters of medical insurance. Thus a statistical method system for analysis on medical insurance risk factors is build up. How to classify a continuous numerical risk factor, also how to measure the numerical difference of risk under different conditions of risk factor, are discussed creatively by advanced statistical method and similar ideas in other fields.Obviously, this study has both theoretical and practical prospect. The statistical analysis method system built up in this paper will flesh out theory in relevant research field, also give an efficient tool to the medical insurance risk management practice. The medical insurance homogenesis and relative risk analysis are innovative conception and method. Generalized Additive Models and Two-part Models are applied in analysis on medical insurance risk factors creatively. These cases in this paper give out some new conclusions and suggestion with universal meaning.
