Visitor impact management is a kind of mode which manages visitors forimproving the quality of visitor experience and supporting the production oftotal administrant objects of local area. It was initially used in the managementsystem of international national parks and became one part of the core.Currently, it has exceeded this range greatly and has been applied widely inthe whole tourism industry with different degrees. It has formed a kind ofmanagement system and the center of the system is inducting visitors to havevisits and realize visitor experience best. This management deals with manykinds of subjects such as economics, sociology, ecology, psychology andgeography. Combining the practice of the project of Huangshan national park andcontraposing those problems existing in the management of actual Chinesenational parks, the paper expatiates by the numbers and researches deeply atthree aspects which are essential theory, applies instance and special technique.The paper indicates that this kind of study is anterior and essential in themanagement and plan of Chinese national parks. In the general plan of Huangshan national park, Visitor impactmanagement model manages visitor's behavior, tourism manner and visitor'sdistribution of time and space to assure high quality of visitor experience withthe general management goals. The article develops the research of visitorimpact management from four aspects: (1) the management of visitors'distribution of time and space; (2)visitors experience management whichestablishes relevant management rules to assure high quality of visitorexperience with the precondition of protecting local entironment. (3) visitorsinterpretation and education management. The study tries to make moresystemic and to improve visitor experience and visitor diathesis. At the same IItime, it also can accelerate the development of management and protection ofnational parks. (4) monitoring system which monitors the implement conditionof objects directly combining object system. Its main aim is to comprehend themanagement function condition and adjust and perfect task in time. The research above-mentioned is a primary attempt of using the theoryknowledge of international visitor impact management model. It should beconsummated by the embedding of theories and summarizing the visitorimpact management system which adapts to the situation of China.
