The Research On Business Continuity Plan(BCP)--Taking China Construction Bank For Example

This paper concentrates on the study of enterprises implementing the Business Continuity Plan (BCP), especially for banks. The objective is to provide some references for BCP implementation in Chinese banks, such as China Construction Bank.Through detailed theoretic study and sufficient empirical study, the author organizes this paper in seven chapters. The first chapter introduces the study of crisis management and BCP theoretic study within and outside of China, and then analyzes the realistic importance of crisis management and BCP application study in China. The second chapter elucidates the study of BCP implementation in western countries. The third chapter further studies the detailed procedure and practical system of BCP implementation. Considering the more and more important position of IT system in modern enterprises, the forth chapter discusses the BCP implementation in IT system. In the fifth chapter, the paper elucidates the study of BCP application in bank industry. Then, in the sixth chapter, the paper studies BCP application in Chinese commercial bank, taking China Construction Bank (CCB) for example, and put forward suggestions on BCP implementation for Chinese commercial banks like CCB. At the end of this paper, comes the conclusion of the author: it is the implementing completed BCP that ensure the enterprises today keeping evergreen.
