Empirical Research On The Effect Of Science & Technology Progress Upon Wuhan's Economy Growth

Nowadays, along with the fast development of science and technology, science & technology has become more and more important and powerful in the economy of the world. Meanwhile, more and more countries and districts pay much attention to it. Using science & technology to develop the economy of the country, has become one of the basic tactics of countries and districts in developing their economy. Hence, it is a matter of great significance both in theory and practice to make a study of the relationship between the technology advancement and the economic growth, and to correctly understand and evaluate the effect that the science & technology has on the economy increase, and to make quantitative analysis.Based on the objective mentioned above, the author gets the positive research conclusions with scientific methods, plentitude and credible data and powerful tool ---Eviews software. Firstly, the output of Wuhan was mainly contributed by capital devotion; Secondly, the rate of contribution by the science & technology is low; Thirdly, the function of the science & technology is becoming more and more important. Meanwhile, the research conclusion on the first and second industry of Wuhan is: with the development of technology, the rate of contribution by the labor is becoming more and more less, and the rate of contribution by the science & technology is increasing.This paper composes of five chapters, the first chapter is the introduction of the paper, including the review of economic growth theories and the methods and the objectives of the paper; In the second chapter, analyze the theory of the relationship between the technology progress and economy increase; Several representative pattern is be studied in the third chapter;In the fourth chapter, the positive analysis of the Wuhan contribution as a whole is progressed; In the fifth chapter, the conclusions are drawn ,and some advice is put forward.
