This thesis targeted the study of the ecological construction of Zhangjiajie city, an international travel city well-known both at home and abroad. Based on ecological economics theories, comprehensively made use of the system theory and statistics, the economics, managements, the knowledge of landscape ecology, agronomy etc., followed the macro-view combine together with micro-view, unified quantities and qualities method, the theories combine with the actual principle, combined on-site investigation, and extensive collected and absorbed the essence of the past study results, after completely reviewed the domestic and international city ecosystem developments theories with practice achievement, this paper analyzed the key problem that existed in the ecosystem developments; We focused it as an international travel city, and its ecosystem developments strategy way of thinking, strategy target, the strategy proceeds and measures etc. At the same time, supposed the concept programming of city ecosystem developments. Main research results are as follows:1 Clarified the major problems of ecological construction in Zhangjiajie city, i.e.: the major problems of ecological construction are city water pollution of the environment, low green cover rate, low environment quality, weak ecological industry , weak ecological consciousness ofcitizen etc.2 Identified the strategic thinking of ecological construction in Zhangjiajie city, i.e.: the city ecological construction must be conducted from the point of development a well-known international travel industry and the practical social the economy status, using the development power of different social angles, aiming at the contradict ecosystem environment problems, based the protection with improvement of the ecosystem environment as the core.3 Established the strategic target of ecological construction in Zhangjiajie city, i.e.: during the future decade, the city district will be made to a blue sky , green ground, green mountain, clean water with the Wuling mountain area" primitive peak forest" ecosystem and nature special features with characteristic Miao and Tujia minorities.4 Put forward a ecosystem developments strategy counter plan with the measures, include: Enhance the city the green turning developments, comprehensive mange the city ecological environment, developing the ecological industry, to gradually form the whole municipal travel town system, promoting the city management level, and diversely enhance the citizenry ecological education.5 Proceeded the concept programming of ecological construction forZhangjiajie city .
