Study On The Development Of Green Economy Of Nanjing City

In this article, firstly, I introduce the domestic and international study of Green economy and green GDP, and propose my own understanding of them, and try to calculate the green GDP of Nanjing in 1997. Then, I innovate the production function, add the factor of environment and resources to the function, and get the result which is 14.65% of the contribute share to Nanjing economy. At last, I adopt DEA model to carry on the systematic efficiency analysis to the green economy in Nanjing. The conclusion is that the economy has 5 years invalid from 1991-2002. There are many influence factors. For examples, the natural resources were consumed too much, the social development was relatively backward, the urban environment was inferior in quality, the fixed assets were invested too many and the employees were too many, etc. At last I propose the suggestions of green economy development according to the analysis results.
