The morality of government officials is a kind of moral quality and criterion that must be obeyed by all level officials, particularly for the leaders in leadership, management, harmonization and service process. It is the top level and predominant position in the whole social moral system, leading the direction of the whole social morality; it has the oriented and demonstrative functions of other respects. Thus, the building of government official morality has been taken seriously consideration. At present most officials have the higher moral stuff and culture in our country, but idealities and moral notions of the minority officials are serious confusion that caused the "moral descend" and negative corrupt phenomenon to spread. The moral corruption of a handful of officials influenced the image of the party and country, broke the relationship of the officials and the people, fluctuated the people's trust to the party and undermine order of the day. Therefore, It must strengthen the moral construction of government official actually in present stage.This thesis explores the significance and necessity of the moral construction that carried in our country currently, probes into the official morality and its meaning, the limitation and apocalypse of the traditional government official moral construction, discusses the exploration of government official moral construction mode from founding our country, base on analyzing existent issues of the government official morality and its construction builds up mode of Chinese contemporary government official morality.In the government official moral construction, the right target of the government official's morality should be built up by all level officials, the basic principle of the official moral of "Whole heartedly behave the people service " should be known definitely by all level officials, basic principles of official moral should be transformed from abstract to basic norms that should be obeyed, the kinds of steps and methods are put forward to strengthen the government official moral construction in the new period.
