Investor Relations Management came from USA and some other countries, whose capital market developed at first. In China, Investor Relations Management is still a brand new concept. Paying highly attention to Investor Relations is a necessary operation principal for an excellent corporation. It is an important issue for the long-run development of the corporation, for the protection of the investors' legal profit, and for the maintaining of the market' s environment.This thesis revolves around Investor Relations Management of publicly listed corporations. With reference to the experience of western nations, it discusses the basic principles, the origin and evolution of Investor Relations Management of publicly listed corporations in China. On this basis, this thesis analyzes the problems of Investor Relations Management in our publicly listed corporations and gives some good suggestions on how to implement it.There are five chapters in this thesis. The first chapter introduces the definition, development history and the important functions of Investor Relations Management. The second chapter analyzes the six factors influencing Investor Relations Management. They are the investor rights, publicly listed corporations' quantity, professional persons, the leaders' participate, the external environment and communication. According to the relations of these six factors, the thesis draws a success model about Investor Relation Management. The third emphasizes on introducing the development course of Investor Relations Management in China and analyzes the problems of Investor Relations Management in our publicly listed corporations and their reasons. The fourth chapter puts forward the suggestions to promote Investor Relations Management in our publicly listed corporations from external environment and the inner part of publicly listed corporations. The last chapter tells the domestic and international successful cases on Investor Relations Management, such as Germany BASF and China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation and does the analysis.
