On The Political Participation Of The Private Entrepreneur Stratum In The Process Of Modernization

With the constant promotion of function and status of the private economy in our country's socialist market economy, the private entrepreneur's colony emerges and grows stronger day by day rapidly as an important social stratum, their influence in our country's social life is becoming greater And what people has paid close attention to most is their economic social influence at present, while their political influence is often neglected. In fact, as the general income colony of the policies of reform and opening to the outside world, they generally have a strong inclination of supporting the existing political system. They play a vital role in China's steadiness of politics, political democracy and political identity. Since politics is the concentrated reflection of economy,existence and development of private economy will inevitably produce corresponding political demands. As an important interests colony, their political demands and participation begin to appear and expand. They widely participate in the political field, express political demands, and promote the decision-making process of political system through their own activity. Building socialist democratic politics and political civilization is an important goal of building the well-off society in an all-round way. The degree of political participation is closely linked with the development of the political civilization. Political modernization is characterized by the political participation. And the democratic process of a country depends largely on the breadth and depth of political participation. At present, the study on the private entrepreneur's colony is still at the stage of exploring. How to perfect every political system, expand the range of political participation by the private entrepreneur's stratum, increase the way of political participation and strengthen the effect of their political participation is a must –be –solved problem in the mould of socialist political civilization and the process of building a well-off society in an all-round way. Only under the leadership of our Party and realizing the healthy development of private entrepreneur stratum, can we embody our Party's Marxist excellent theoretical character and superior judgment,can we embody our communists' great heart, strengthen our Party's class foundation, enlarge our Party's mass foundation, consolidate our Party's social foundation and demonstrate huge socialist harmonization. Through analyzing the development courses and the characteristics of private entrepreneur stratum, and the motive, form and existing problem of political participation, the passage probes into the meaning and function of political participation of the private entrepreneur. The first part briefly analyzes and defines the relevant concepts of the article –the theory of participation and defined, the production of political participation and the relationship between political participation and politics democratization, and investigates the steadiness of politics. And then it summarizes the overview of political participation of citizens at the present stage, which establishes the theoretical foundation and background for the following research. The second part mainly investigates and analyzes the development course and the current development situation of the private entrepreneur stratum after reform and opening-up. This part is divided into five small sections: The first section historically reviews the winding development course of the entrepreneur stratum after the reform and opening-up; the second section explains the current development situation of this stratum; the third section analyzes that this stratum has the unique social characteristic which is different from the capitalist in Marxism-Leninism principle and also different from the capitalist merchant before it was transformed in the fifties; the fourth section reflects the stratum's general politicaldemands; the fifth section analyzes the three different kinds of political psychological state among the stratum.
