Marx holds that the development of the society is a process of natural history and it has the inexorable necessity. The capitalistic society can't get rid of its inner paradox,it is its destiny to destroy the husk of itself and die out. Since the Second World War,the capitalistic society has taken a series of great changes. Some scholars begin to suspect and even more thoroughly deny the historical materialism by any means. In fact, the changes are the continuation of the capitalistic society's certain new phenomena in the late 19th century. Some of Marx's works contain the record and examination of these new changes and characters, toward which people have been lacking in deserving attention and research for a long time. These new phenomena include the changes of bank and credit system, the development of joint-stock company, the appearance of the stratum of "Command to Labor",the initial establishment of welfare system and the open of the innovative system. These changes correspondingly make great influence on the reforms of the structure of capitalistic society, the ownership structure, the mode of economic production, class structure and the way of society struggle. What's more,Marx's theory connotes the impetus and system which give birth to these new changes——self-expand of capital, pressure and force of social competition, the reformation of the big industry, the development of science and technology and so on. Daniel Bell found the wise prediction of the development of modern capitalistic society by Marx, but mistook it as "the Second Pattern"about capitalism by Marx.
