A Study Of The Coordinating Political Mechanism Of Interests Conflicts During The Social Transformation In China

During the period of social transformation, the relations of interests in China has become, with the deepening of reform and opening up policy and the constant adjustment of the interests pattern, more and more complicated. The conflict of interests is most intense, direct and focused. The pursuit of interest is not only a powerful lever to promote social progress, but also the ultimate root causing social conflicts. The present conflict of interest is a direct threat to political stability, affecting the construction of a socialist harmonious society. Therefore, strengthening the research on the conflict of interests is of great significance. Firstly, this paper defines the concepts of interests, conflicts of interests, political mechanism and so on, analyzing the characteristics of subject, source, and means in current interests relations of society in China as well as the main manifestations of interests conflicts, revealing the root for the birth of interests conflicts from economic, political, ideological, cultural and other aspects. Secondly, pointing out that when faced with social pressures and challenges from conflicts of interests, political system can do nothing but to establish a sound and scientific coordinating mechanism of interests so as to effectively integrate diversified interests in society, resolve various contradictions and conflicts of interests, and achieve positive social interaction. However, since there is a possibility of the coordination of current conflicts of interests in Chinese, the coordination of conflicts of interests should follow appropriate basic principles. Finally, based on the principle of political system function process input, transformation,output and feedback , this paper proposes a main approach to build a coordinating political mechanism of social interests conflicts from the perspective of the perfection of the mechanism for communicating with the public, the improvement of the operational mechanisms of democracy, the perfection of mechanism of system integration and value integration, the establishment of interests conflicts prewarning, emergency and dissolving mechanism.
