Lawrence Kohlberg ,a famous American Psychologist and educationist, applying moral discussion method in dilemma to study scientifically and systemically on adolescents'moral cognition development from age 10 to16, put forward the theory with three levels and six stages about moral cognition development and moral educational strategy based on foregoing outcomes during 1950's to 1960's.This Paper have done some research from the following three aspects.firstly, Based on Lawrence Kohlberg's research , this Paper investigates and analyzes the present situation of adolescents'moral cognition development in Heilongjiang province , selecting 634 students from six areas ,such as Harbin ,Qiqihaer,Daqing ,Jiamusi,and further validating Kohlberg's theory of moral cognition development.through this research,we found that students'moral cognition development in cities are evidently different from those from towns and countries, But there is no obvious difference between boys and girls, between students in common and outstanding schools. Secondly, this paper analyzes the reasons of difference by using Kohlberg's theory.Thirdly , combining Kohlberg's theory and practice of moral cognition research, this paper puts forward some advice and countermeasures about innovation and scientific development of moral education , aiming at the disadvantage of traditional moral education in china,the paper insists that the tradition instillation model should be changed,and adolescents'training and cultivation in morality should be inhanced. Meanwhile,the innovation and scientific developmeng of adolescents'moral cognition research should be promoted.
