Deng Xiaoping's Thought Of Harmonious Society And Its Development

Thought of Harmonious Society is an important component of Deng Xiaoping Theory. Intensive study of Deng Xiaoping's thought of Harmonious Society is an inherent requirement for mastering the scientific system of Deng Xiaoping Theory comprehensively. The Fourth Plenary Session of the Sixteenth Central Committee of CPC put forward the major strategic mission to build a socialist harmonious society. Against this background, it's of great theoretical and practical significance for the construction of a socialist harmonious society to explore seriously the thought of Harmonious Society.There are four chapters in this thesis: Chapter I: Introduction. This chapter describes the background and significance of the topic, situation of study on Deng Xiaoping's thought of Harmonious Society and the research ideas of this thesis.Chapter II: Formation Conditions of Deng Xiaoping's thought of Harmonious Society. Five aspects of the formation of"Harmonious Society"are discussed in this chapter: its ideological origins, historical background, realistic basis, historical foundation and subjective conditions. It generalizes and analyzes the thought from its theoretical source, which lays the groundwork for the following text. Chapter III: Main Points, Basic Characteristics and Great Significance of Deng Xiaoping's Thought of Harmonious Society. Deng Xiaoping's thought of Harmonious Society contains substantial content, mainly including the harmony between human beings and nature, harmony among people, harmony of social development and of the international community. Basic characteristics of the thought consist of reality, scientificity, innovativeness, openness and affinity to the people. Great significance is reflected in its theoretical and practical significance, as well as thought methods to analyze, understand and solve the problems. This section analyzes the main content of Deng Xiaoping's thought of Harmonious Society, as well as expounds its basic characteristics and significance guided by the principle of"Integration of Theory with Practice". Chapter IV: Enrichment and Development of Deng Xiaoping's Thought of Harmonious Society under New Historical Conditions. Under new historical conditions, Deng Xiaoping's thoughts of harmonious communication between human beings and nature, coordinated development of economy, harmony and stability between ideology and politics, common development of "two civilizations" and Harmony of International Society got further developed by the third-generation leading collective of CPC with Jiang Zemin as the core. Combining with the developing and changing situation at home and abroad, the new leading collective of CPC put forward the strategic mission of Scientific Outlook on Development and building a socialist harmonious society, as well as the concept of "Harmonious World", which will bring a further development to Deng Xiaoping's thought of Harmonious Society, then lead our Party to a mature and perfect understanding of Harmonious Society.
