| A broad overview of the Max Stirnar critique research shows that most of them conduct the research from the perspective of history, individual in history or metaphysics, which shade the fundamental principle of Max Stirnar critique and take the historical materialism in< German Ideology> merely as a historical view. However, the historical materialism established by Max and Engels was not only a"historical view, but also a"world view". Max's critique on Stirner was from the perspective of world view and he intended to devastate Stirner's premise of thought.Borrowing from Hegel's thought, Stirner created the whole history of individual and mankind and put the relationship between man and object in his visual history. Stirner's child(ancient times) narrated the relationship between man and objective world and how to slip the leash of the objective world; his youth(modern times) narrated the relationship between man and spirit world and how to get rid of the rule of the spirit world; adult narrated an individual's total possession of both objective world and spirit world. Though Stirner was aware that individual was slaved and repressed, he intended to realize personal liberation so as to get rid of the irrational living state. His methods of realizing liberation of personality was"thought uprising"or"change of the thought", which believes as long as remove the thought of rule out of people's mind, one can get rid of their rule so as to realize liberation of personality and become"the one".Max found the fundamental imperfection of Stirner's thought and though he criticize Stirner from the perspective of history view, he was not criticizing the specific content of Stirner's history view, rather ,he emphasized in criticizing the mutual thought premise of Stirner and young Hegelians. Max believed that the history created by Stirner from consciousness was merely a volume of history of thought while Stirner took it as the real history and applied it to explain all relationship between man and the world, which was a typical idealism which explain the relationship between man and the world in an abstract way. Though Stirner also intended to change the irrational living situation of man and to realize the Liberation of Personality, however, his Liberation of Personality was just liberation in spiritual senseand his method the the liberation ws merely"thought uprising"and"the change of the thought".Therefore, Max believed that Stirner didn't touch upon the thought which rule people because they resulted from reality. Therefore, the essence of Stiener's philosophy was explaining the world by some other expressions which was a recognition of the real society. It is obvious that the essence of Stirner's philosophy was still a"interpretation of the world". Max criticized Stirner's philosophy essentially on this essence.Max could critique Stirner from the height lied in that his history view was not only a"history view", but also a"world view". This"world view"was not a critique on the fundamental premise of idealism philosophy, but also a"new world view"which transcended the essence of the old materialism. |
