Principle Of A Better World

As a normative study, this article seeks to make clear what the desirable world politics should be. Such brief conclusions as maintaining the securtiy or pursuing the peace are not helpful because these conceptions are very inexplicit and often in conflict each other. I think that the diesirable and logical better world should be built on the basement of the interests of individuals. Thus, my core idea is that the individuals as the equal ends are the ultimate ends of the world politics so that the national interests should be difined by the interests of individuals and the better world should be a world in which the just interests of individuals are maximized as possible. If the just interests are mutual collided, they should be traded off according to the principles as follows: (1) the security interests are higher than the material interests and the material interests are higher than the mental interests; (2) in the same level of interests, the majority is priority to the minority, but if two sucurity interests are in conflict, the principle is that individuals should not be killed initiatively and compulsively if they have no mistake. When the tradeoff is finished, the lost must be given the enough compensation because only by it, the just interests can be maximized as possible and the better world can be achieved.Although the forementioned are the normative principles, they will play an important role in the reality. There are many kinds of the ethical issues in the world politics but less conresponding explanations with the consistent logic and the moral meaning as well as. By explaining and analyzing the international redistribution, the international violence and the humanitarian intervention, I try to tell that the research of the better world can be applied to the world politics and these practical issues are helpful for our understanding and achieving of the better world. Certainly, because of the various histories, nations and cultures, the better world is not only one vision. So, this article has not given the priority to any idea except of the just interest of individuals, and is open to the future of the world politics. I hope that the various ideas about the better world can coexist and integrated at last so that they can influence the reality. But the better world is not achieved of itself, our future have to thus be depend on in some degree the political leaders. Their choices are very important, because they are usually in the key places in the key times.
