On The New Change In The Essential Attribute Of Ideological And Political Education

As the key issue to the ideological and political education both theoretically and practically, the essential attribute of ideological and political education is of great significance to their development. Since 1980s, with the establishment and improvement of the system of ideological and political education, an increasingly increasing number of scholars began their probe into the essential attribute of ideological and political education and have achieved a number of academic results. Through the reviewing of the views of the essential attribute of ideological and political education, we find that the idea about the essential attribute of ideological and political education has much more to do with the humanity rather than the traditional idea of classes. This is a turning point, a reflection of new era in theory and practice of ideological and political education, but there is still room for further discussion in the correctness and veracity of this viewpoint. This paper, guided by methodology of Marxist will endeavor to analyze the new change in the essential attribute of ideological and political education in the new situation, to discover the essential attribute of ideological and political education is political nature, but the meaning of political nature has changed from classes to public authority, and to make known the reason in reality and theory for this new change, and then on this basis, tries to analyze developing tendency of ideological and political education in function, content and method.The paper has four parts, the first of which is to give the reasons for the statement of the new change in the essential attribute of ideological and political education, presenting the state, frame and approach for this research and the meaning theoretically and practically; the second of which is dealing with the definition of the basic notion of ideological and political education, essential attribute and the essential attribute of ideological and political education.Through the investigation of the phased evolution of the views of the essential attribute of ideological and political education, to discover the tendency of the views of the essential attribute of ideological and political education turning from traditional classes viewpoint toward humanity. Then, this paper will make a new definition for politics , and go deep into a clear idea for the new change in the essential attribute of ideological and political education in the new era. The third part of this paper is to conclude the reasons in reality of the new change, from the view of reform opening to the outside world and the socialist market economy, and to go deeper into the root cause of the new change from the Marxist all-around human development doctrine and scientific development theory. The fourth part will quest the tendency of ideological and political education in function, content and method, according to the new change of the essential attribute of ideological and political education.
