Research On The Policy On Taiwan Of The Communist Party Of China Since New Century

Research of the Policy on Taiwan of the Communist Party of China since new centuryTaiwan is an inalienable part of the inviolable territory of China. Taiwan issue is remained unsolved during the War of Liberation, and which is also Chinese domestic problem. Solving the Taiwan question and reunifying the motherland are the historical missions of Chinese Communist Party. Since New China established, the Communist Party of China has carried on the unremitting effort for resolving the Taiwan question. According to the new variety of domestic and international situation, the Communist Party of China had proposed many positive measures to promote the reunification of China.At the present time, the research of"the policy on Taiwan of the Communist Party of China"among China Academic Circles generally has the same view. That the main policies on Taiwan of the Communist Party of China are using of force in early days of New China ;"peaceful reunification; one country, two systems"in the era of reform and opening-up ;"peaceful reunification; eight-point proposal"which proposed by the three generations of the central leadership collective and built the theme of"peaceful and developing Cross-straits relation"in new century. But they have different emphasis and angels.The main research object of the paper is the policy on Taiwan of the Communist Party of China since 2000. Basing on analyzing policies summarize its development and changed. The study is dynamic, emphasize the policy's change and analyze the cause of the policy's development.This paper main divides into three portions. Part I, Review the policy on Taiwan of the Communist Party of China during New China established to last century. The main content includes:"using force";"force and peace";"peaceful reunification; one country, two systems". Part II, Summarize the development of Chinese Communist Party's policy on Taiwan, the main content includes five points : (1) Re-explains the principle of one China in a flexible way; (2) Draws up Anti-secession law ,leading Cross-straits relation; (3) Built the theme of"peaceful and developing Cross-straits relation", rebuild peaceful reunification's confidence; (4) Create new ways for Cross-straits peace negotiations; (5) Promote cultural interaction and personnel exchanges. Part III, Analyze the cause of the policy on Taiwan of the Communist Party of China's development. On one hand, new achievements in Socialist Theory with Chinese characteristics has provided theoretical basis to the policy of Chinese Communist Party; on the other hand, the variety of the Cross-straits relation is the objective base.To study on the policy of the Communist Party of China, can help us master the international and domestic situation completely and propel the development of significant theories like Scientific Development and Harmonious Society. And from the development, we can perceive Cross-straits future, seize the opportunity, bring Taiwan issue into a new stage. We are firmly convinced that the great aim of national reunification will be realized at an early date.
