| Human rights are the basic rights an individual should enjoy based on his/her essence and self-esteem under certain social and historical conditions. It is human beings'constant pursuit to realize human rights sufficiently. In the current society, human rights have become important content and sensitive issue in international relationship, a significant subject every country must face and handle properly. Ever since the founding of CPC, fighting for real human rights has been its long-term ambition.Because of the need of the times, Jiang is the only one among generations of party and national leaders who discussed in largest amount and from vastest aspects on the issue of human rights. Jiang's thoughts on human rights features various contents and inherited classic Maxist author's basic thoughts on human rights, positive fruits of western humanism and the beneficial ingredients of ancient Chinese people-oriented thoughts on one hand, and made some break-through and innovation on both the width and depth of the issue and thus enriched and perfected the socialist human rights theory with Chinese characteristics.The current thesis is based on the status quo of the socialist human rights with Chinese characteristics, draws on the available researches, and takes stand on the standpoint, view and methods of Maxism, analyzes and generalizes systematically the discussion of human rights by Jiang and, eventually, formed the theoretical system of Jiang's thoughts on human rights. The thesis consists of three parts.The first part focuses on the formation and development of Jiang's thoughts on human rights. This part focuses on the social background, theoretical origin, and the period of formation and development. Among these points, the formation and development period of Jiang's thoughts on human rights are the difficult point.The second point discusses the main content and basic features of Jiang's thoughts on human rights. This part is the focus of the whole thesis. Based on vast literature, analysis, generalization and research about Jiang's thoughts on human rights and the third generation of leadership's important literature on human right, resorting to the method of systematic analysis, the thesis sorted out the main contents of Jiang's thoughts on human rights, namely, prime human rights, the premise and protection of human rights, the essential ways to realize human rights, the essential protection of human rights, and popularity and specialty of human rights, the measures to the settlement of human right controversies, rights for special groups, the important points on human right education, environmental human rights, human right on higher level and broader horizon and tries to form the scientific system of Jiang's thoughts on human rights. Based on the analysis of the main content of Jiang's thoughts on human rights, the thesis proposed that Jiang's thoughts on human rights owns the characteristics like scientific, people-oriented, practical, open, etc.The third discusses the theoretical and practical value. This part is the objective of the thesis -discuss the value of Jiang's thoughts on human rights both theoretically and practically. Theoretically, Jiang's thoughts on human rights inherited and developed the human rights theory of Maxism, broadened and upgraded the significant thoughts of "three represents". Practically, it helps to push forward the research of human rights theory, promote the course of human right and handle properly the international human rights issues. |
