The land issue is related to the major issues of national stability and development.In rencent years, with the rapid development of urbanization and industrialization, a large number of rural collective land is becoming main resources of construction land and urban land. Land Acquisition is based on public interest stipulate by Construction and Land Management Law. But the expression public intetest is not to be strictly construed. The house on the stste-owned land acquisition and compensation ordinance is a milestone for Land Acquisition. But it is not possible to give an exact and all-embracing definition of public interest under this ordinance.
