Tentative Discussion On Overseas Study Of China Model

China model is the summarization of contemporary China's development by foreign scholars, its essence is a strategic choice that China as a developing socialist achieves her own modernization in the context of globalization. This article attempts to make a tentative discussion on overseas study of China model.The first part analysis the overseas research on historical process of China model. From the founding of New China to 2002, is the early exploratory stage, from 2002 to 2007 is the formally proposed stage of the China model, in 2008 after entering into the hot discussion phase. At present, domestic scholars have two different views on overseas research, most scholars agree the formulation of China model, it is another statement of China Road, they are in favor of the overseas study, few scholars believe to be calm on overseas hot discussion, slow to mention or mention the China model carefully or not even mention China model.The second part analysis the issues and the point of view of overseas research. About the meaning and characteristics of the China model, Overseas scholars believe that the China model is an innovative, sustainable, equitable, progressive development model, has "its own unique ideology", and is the responsible authority system; About the relationship between China model and the "Maoist model", overseas scholars have two different views on this issue, One view is more emphasis on commonalities between them, insist on the dialectical unity , the other view emphasizes the differences between the two, insist on the contrary; About the China model of world influence, overseas scholars put forward five different views: China miracle, China issues, China opportunity, China threat and of China collapse.The third part analysis the challenging problems raised by overseas.
