An Analysis Of China-ASEAN Relations: In The Perspective Of Peaceful Development Strategy

21st century, the relationship between China and ASEAN developed to a new historical stage. Politically, both sides established "facing the peace and prosperity of the strategic partnership"; economically, launched "China and ASEAN Free Trade Area"; on safety, China acceded to the "southeast Asia and friendly cooperation treaty". China's peaceful development strategy is the main reason that China and ASEAN relationship to made new progress, but we must realize, due to the various causes of history and reality, there are some negative factors influence China and ASEAN relationship. To this, China should adopt corresponding strategies and measures to eliminate obstacles hampering the deepening strategic cooperation, and to ensure the realization of China's peaceful development strategy.This paper points out three parts under the perspective of peaceful development strategy to study China and ASEAN relations, Firstly, I start from China's peaceful development strategy to research the southeast Asia strategic position, analyzes the all-round development of the alliance between China and the southeast nations, study the problems and countermeasures between China and ASEAN, and strategic development relationship between China and ASEAN was prospected.The first part of the essay is the China's peaceful development strategy and ASEAN strategic position. The central committee with Hu Jintao as the core since the new situation of the domestic and international puts forward the peace development strategy. This strategic decisions promoted the transformation of China's foreign strategies in diplomatic practice, has made significant development, China and ASEAN relationship is a good example. Southeast Asia is the area that contains the most overseas Chinese, because of its unique geographical location, rich energy and the rapid development of economic and political factors, ASEAN become the important influence the peaceful development areas. Both we use peaceful development strategic to guiding both China and ASEAN relations develop could create a peaceful international environment,and could with China's development to promote world peace and common development of all countries.The second part of the essay is the development of relations between China and ASEAN. After ASEAN was established, China and ASEAN relationship experienced tortuous development history by various factors. Firstly I combed the relations between China and ASEAN four stages, in order to grasp the direction of relations between the two sides better. In the 21st century, China has been guided by peaceful development strategy, attention China- ASEAN's good-neighborly and friendly diplomacy. Meanwhile, ASEAN also according to its characteristics and international situation changes, timely implementation "Power balance strategy". Relations between China and ASEAN are made great achievements both in political, economic, and cultural fields. Finally, I analyzed the achievements of China and ASEAN's relationship.The third part of the essay is the relationship between China and ASEAN recognition, problems and countermeasures. In the 21st century that the international situation changes rapidly, China and ASEAN's mutual recognition and need each other to both promote friendly relations to bring good historical opportunity. But because of the history and reality things, the reason of the ASEAN lack of political trust on both the strategic cooperation has formed certain constraints. To this, in this part I analyzed the present situation of China and ASEAN relations objectively, mean mutual recognition and the problems they faced, and thus based on this explores how to continue to implement the peace development strategy, promote China and ASEAN friendly relations of cooperation, and properly handle the development of existing problems in order to promote both sides and even east Asia's prosperity and stability.
