This thesis oppugns the current international society and especially the optimism of sino-japanese environmental cooperation which is taken by the two governments of China and Japan and All circles in the society. On the basic of inspecting bilateral environmental cooperation mechanism and content, this thesis points out that sino-japanese environmental cooperation exist obvious asymmetry, through summarizing and analyzing the endowment and the management ability of Chinese environment, the advantages and intention of Japanese environmental diplomacy.This kind of asymmetry cooperation will bring China is attached to Japan in environmental field, which will become important means that Japan could used to intervene and control China, which will even threat China's environmental and economic security in low carbon era in future. The author introduces the interdependence theory of new liberal-institutionalism paradigm into the environmental field, pointing that the feature of asymmetry interdependence of environmental field also lurks a possibility that a nation attached to another nation, one country can cooperate with other countries, depending on his advantages in the environmental field, influence and control other countries through the asymmetry cooperation especially in the future's in low carbon era. This thesis is to ring alarm bells to China who is disadvantaged in sino-japanese environmental cooperation, in order that we can realize the existence of this prlblem as soon as possible, and make all preparations to avoid this risk and threat, trying to realize the symmetrical bilateral cooperation. Know the enemy and know yourself, and you can fight a hundred battles with no danger of defeat, safeguard and fight for national interests.
