| Since China's entry of the aging society in in 1999, China's population structure has been characterized with becoming old before getting rich, increasing trend of an aging demographic characteristics. Meanwhile, the long-term implementation of the family planning policy results in the 4:2:1 type of family structure, and lack of resources of family pension. Therefore, social old-age pension will become one of the inevitable trends for its development in the future. According to the strategic goal of "Health Aging" put forward by the World Health Organization (WHO), China has also put forward the grand objective of "to achieve healthy aging," in 1995. Therefore, the development of social pension should regard"Healthy Aging"as one of the strategic objectives. Cares for the aged in nursing home is one of the most important forms of Old-age care . Study on its present situationCares for the aged in the nursing home will play a promoting role in the development of Old-age care . Investigation on the present situation of Old-age care in Shijiazhuang City, one of the medium-sized cities in China, will offer a reference on understanding the development of Organization old-age care carried out in medium-sized cities in China.The paper takes the nursing homes in City Shijiazhuang as its object, analyses the present situations of the nursing homes, lifestyle and satisfaction degree of the old in nursing homes as well as the will of the"empty nest nursing homes"on endowment in the guide of regimen and sports science by comprehensively using various research methods, such as literature, questionnaire, observation etc. The main purpose of the paper is to find out and solve the problems existed in the development of nursing homes in City Shijiazhuang from regimen angle, for example, how to create a better living environment for the old, how to guild the old to shape a more healthy, civilized and scientific lifestyle, how to promote the more effectively application of sports in nursing homes, in that case, it may greatly improve the living quality of the old in nursing homes, then the healthy aging goal in nursing home will be realized, which is also benefit for the development of nursing home in City Shijiazhuang.Research results :1. There are 29 nursing homes in Shijiazhuang City, the majority distributed in the suburbs, including 2 psychiatric hospitals, 1 co-organized by government, 3 organized by collective, and 24 organized by private persons. About 41.7% nursing homes'fixed assets are below 50 thousand yuan, the highest is 987 million yuan ,and the lowest is 3 million yuan; the workers'pay is most concentrated in 1000 yuan; 9% nursing homes is at profit, 12% of the nursing homes was flat, 79% of the nursing home losses.2. The Occupancy rate in the city of Shijiazhuang is 51.61%, for the moment there are 477 best workers. The ratio of works and old people is 1:4.3, 79.2% of the workers in nursing homes don't have certificates .3. Among the surveyed 24 nursing homes, there are 3935 beds, lacking of health-care facilities; 45.8% of the nursing homes don't have any fitness facilities; 100% of the nursing homes are equipped with recreational facilities, but only primarily by television and chess ; 8.3% have no activity places; 80% of the nursing homes have chess rooms; in addition, 30% of the nursing homes have drawing rooms, otherwise , the ratio of the nursing homes with other activity places ,( except dance hall )is up and down across10%.4. 100% of the nursing homes in Shijiazhuang enjoy preferential free tax , but other government subsidies types and quantities are few, 33 % of the nursing homes did not get any social help, 67 percent of nursing home occasionally acquire social help.5. The nursing home's care service object mainly focus on self-care old man (100%) , half self-care old man(95.8%)and full-care ole man (91.7%); no nursing home arrange comprehensive medical service, Its medical services is primarily with blood pressure monitoring (87.6%), infusion chaperone (75%), buying medicine (66.7%).6.Among the old man who don't take part in exercise ,about 67% old people are because of their body's unpermition . 33 % for lacking of interest, lack of guidance, facilities and places . The satisfactory levels of the old man to each service are all below 50%, in addition to the location of the nursing homes.Research conclusions:1.The majority of the private nursing homes in Shijiazhuang have been facing kinds of difficulties such as shortage of funds, shortage of care workers, low benefits for care workers, large liquidity but low quality relatively , low occupancy rate but the number of beds is obviously not keep up with the pace of Shijiazhuang's aging development.2. Currently there are nursing homes in shijiazhuang city ,and the majority distributed in the suburbs, and there are some apparent differences of the fixed assets,many nursing homes are at losses. The government has not imposed enough investment to endowment career and there is not enough social support .Nursing homes'infrastructure is crumbling, lacking of medical care facilities; lacking of sports and entertainment facilities, places and instructors; lacking of body care services, doctors and nutritionists ,and collective activities are all inadequate, nursing care has a single function. Overall, the old man of imposing the satisfaction of every service level is low.
