A Research On Peasants' Participation In The Background Of The Rural Governance

Our socialist economic construction is in a transitional period, and the Party and government need to deal with all kinds of complicated situations. Especially the rural society, it's crucial for the stability and development of China. Therefore, the Party and government attach weight to management of the rural society. Development of the rural management may provide an important way of resolving the problems facing our agriculture, rural areas and farmers. As is known peasants'political participation is a realization of establishing socialist democracy and improving subjective consciousness. These two work hand in hand. So it provides a necessary platform for developing peasants'political participation in the background of rural management, helping government convert administrative notion and safeguarding the interests of Chinese peasants.The goal of rural management development is to improve our level of service to peasants. Peasants'political participation helps better to safeguard their interests. Although great progress has been made in construction of socialist democracy, peasants'political participation is in a minimum of supervision. Some unordered and uninstitutional political participation ways are on the increase. Various factors, such as economic, institution and culture, baffle the development of peasants'political participation. All of these go against construction of socialist democracy in China.So shaped on farmers'immediate interests, fully protecting and safeguarding their legal rights, actively stimulating their enthusiasm about political participation, letting them feel that orderly political participation can safeguard their own interests, our Party and government should promote the development of rural economics, increase their income and their sources of political participation, elaborate and protect their institutional modes of political participation. As a result, our country can accelerate construction of socialist democracy, stabilize rural society, and provide stable political supports for construction of new socialist countryside.
