The widespread use of information network technology brings opportunities and challenges to the government's credibility. Network public opinion can supervise the executive powers of governments effectively, network can speeds up the publicity and transparency of government information,network can improve the administrative efficiency and social service capacity of government, network can promote citizen to participate in politics effectively, and increase public satisfaction with government. However, Network is a Double-edged sword. The old concept of administration, lack of relevant legal system, decline of officials' morality and the public cognitive bias on the government, results in the government's credibility problems which are epidemic. Network not only magnifies the government credibility problems, but also brings severe challenges to the government's credibility: lax network checking weakens the government's credibility, government information security threatened, affects the government's credibility, unbalanced development of network results in unbalance of political participation, the complexities of network increased more difficulties of the government crisis management. Therefore, the government should strengthen self-construction, improve the management of information network, use the network platform to enhance and innovate the social management, solve social problems effectively, and protect the legal rights of the public, so as to continuously improve the government's credibility.
