Similarities And Differences Of Political Thought Between Sima Guang And Sima Qian

There are two great historians in ancient China--Sima Qian and Sima Guang.Their political thought is the rare treasure in ancient Chinese, which gives us a lot of enlightenment. Although they are far away from our ages, their political thought about manage country and enrich people has heritaged since one or two thousand years ago. This is why even today the ideas of these two sages still worth exploring. Today, their thoughts of People-oriented and Talent ideas are still important references. In addition, the two didn't have agreement on some historical facts,which are worth exploring deeply. This article reads as follows:The first part is an introduction, and discussed the causes ,practical significance of the topics, current situation, difficulties and innovation.The second part discussed the sources of their political thought and the process of formation.The third part first discussed the same political and ideological aspects of they two, such as Unity Thinking, People-oriented, Advocate Benevolent Politics, Usage of the elite and National Concept in these parts; then discussed the different points of view such as on aspects the views of aristocratic support persons in Warring States Period, on attitudes towards political reform.Finally, the article summarizes the conclusions of the study.
