The Study On Ideological And Political Work Of The New Stratum During The Period Of Social Transformation

Since the plenary of the 11th session of CPC, earthshaking changes have taken place in China. An era which was characteristics by transformation in the political, economic, cultural and other social structures has began. The new social stratum was born along with reform and opening-up, they constitute pioneers and technicians in private science-and-technology enterprises, self-employed people,employers of private enterprises, intermediary agents and professionals.The new social stratum make outstanding contribution in promoting the development of national economic and the social business, enlarging employment rate and maintainting society stability. They were playing an increasingly important role in socio-economic development in China. How to do their ideological and political work, help them resolve their concerns, for example the political identity problem, politics participation problem and so on, and make the new social stratum to contribute to the socialism with Chinese characteristics become an essential task for the CPC's ideological and political work in the new period. In this paper, based on the analysis of the causes and characteristics of this new social stratum, and discusses the content, features, guidelines, principles of ideological and political work of the new social stratum, the paper aims to propose the countermeasures of the ideological and political work of the new social stratum. In addition to introduction, the whole people consists of three parts.Part one: In this section, states the definition of the social stratum, and analyzes the characteristics of components during period of social transformation in China.Part two: In this section, presents the theoretical construction for ideological and political work of the new social stratum in theoretical construction. Discusses the content, features, guidelines, principles of ideological and political work of the new social stratum.Part three: Mainly analyzes the approach and the strategy of how to reinforcing and improving the ideological and political work of the new stratum. This is also the focus of the full paper. The path of ideological and political work of the new social stratum includes the following aspects: strengthening the CPC's leadership of the new social stratum; the establishing of the new work team with high-quality for ideological and political work; improving the constructive mechanism ideological and political work of the new social stratum; carrying out the methods for the ideological and political work of the new social stratum.
