With the development of agriculture mechanization, raise crops required less and less labor forces. The opposite situation of increasing population and reducing land make more and more work force idle. Even worse, the urban-rural dual structural and satirical urban population accounts for rural surplus man powers can't transfer to the city. So, look for a new means of live hood is inevitable in their native place. Start an undertaking with the local conditions is many people's sagacious choice. However, interests is the aim of market economy, so in this condition, the interests of market and traditional network are mingling. People who do pioneering work not only require human capital but also need social capital, and the social capital usually plays a more important role than others.Rely on the study site of J village of Shandong Province, and use the research methods of survey a depth of interview, we inspect the social capital of father's generation and the generation born during the 1980s. Not only study how they wired their social capital but also find out their achieved goals. Generally speaking, both groups carry through their goals and settle various problems with the help of social capital. Conversely, in this process of doing pioneering work, people show significant differences in using social capital. For one thing, relatives and clan members are the best to the father's generation, but post-80s turn to their parents, the affinity and clan relation can not compare with parent's help. Beyond that, post-80s are better at expanding their social capital than father's generation, and post-80s′s actions near modern commercial behavior. What's more, compared with father's spiritual support network, The younger generation are not confined to relatives and neighbors clan members, but rely on the peer groups of friends and classmates.
