In the traditional way, in SCM, many authors did the research on decision control, the combination of inventory with transportation, the influence of information on SCM.However, the research on the collaboration strategy and Principal-Agent theory waslimited. It was a potential barrier to develop for our native enterprises, which had nosense of collaboration-competition. Thus, it was very important and practically todevelop a research on collaboration and coordination of the enterprise in the supplychain. A new point in this paper was that we viewed the SCM with Principal---Agenttheory. It was based on that SCM was tend to research on the relationship among thesupplier, manufacturer, and consumer. Thus, the method we took on this paper was toput the model in SCM into the P-A instruction. In addition , we added the research onoptimal contract to traditional SCM model. On one hand, it was a new issue to SCMmodel. On the other hand, it was more deep and effectively than ever in this way.First of all, in the introduction, we gave the original conception of the P-A theory,a conception and a function of SCM. And than, we made a discussion on the relationbetween the SCM and P-A theory. In chapter two and three, we made summaries onmoral hazard and adverse choice respectively which was the key issue of P-A theory. The chapter four and five were applications of SCM research with P-A theory. Chapterfour we gave a two echelon SC model, and we analysis the difference of the costbetween the information symmetry and asymmetry way. In chapter five, we got anoptimal order and product decisions with a discussion on how to make an optimalcontract.
