World heritage is a kind of approval and highest honor accorded by internationalcommunity to national culture, historical sites and natural resources scenery of acertain country.Since 1985, when our country officially signed the 'Convention for the Protectionof World Cultural and Natural Heritage'as a contracting party, 32 heritage in ourcountry have been ranked among 'World Heritage List'. Therefore, China is the thirdbiggest heritage country in the world.Up to now, every country, throughout the world, has been exploiting heritage touron the sites of world heritage, China included.Under the influence of some aspects, such as conception, exploiting consciousness,management mechanism, the exploitation of world heritage tour has met somequestions in our country. For instance, how to gain a win-win situation whenexploiting world heritage tour. In other words, how to form a beneficial interactionbetween the protection of world heritage and the tourism development, which is notonly the most pressing topic facing the development of world heritage tour in ourcountry now, but also the key question concerned in this article.This paper contains five chapters. Chapter 1 expounds the meaning, backgroundand theory foundation of its research. The next chapter gives a comprehensivecommentary about these related researches from domestic to abroad. Then the thirdchapter,in view of the current situation of exploitation of world heritage sites in ourcountry, emphatically analyzes the problems arising from heritage tour exploitation.After that, the paper makes a study about a typical example, Wudang Mount, inChapter 4 and then draws inspiration for the tourism exploitation of heritage sites.While the last chapter puts forward some countermeasures for the research question.
