Research On The Control Of Parent-subsidiary Corporation Based On Strategy

Content: Parent-subsidiary Corporation is the basement of development of the enterprise group, also a relationship inside with market, which should be treated carefully during the process of the development of big companies. In the world economic, few companies create most of the wealth.In our nation, few industry groups create most of GDP, too. Now there is a phenomenon in the practice of the management of Parent-subsidiary Corporation, which is "Close control to die, and lose control to chaos." According the finding, the leaders of enterprise group in China think that the most important question which they will encounter in 5 years is the exploiting of market, and the second is the management of Parent-subsidiary Corporation.In my thesis, I conclude the factors and the relationship between the factors, which confluences the control of Parent-subsidiary Corporation based on the documents and practice in China of the control of Parent-subsidiary Corporation. On the base of this, I build a basic model through the thought of the Control Theory. In this model I pay attention to the control. In this part, I build a model for the control of Parent-subsidiary Corporation on the base of the control theory of professor Robert Simons, in this model, there four system in the control of Parent-subsidiary Corporation, they are belief system, border system, feedback control system and interactive system, and analysis the meaning, building and the applied habitus in China. In Part 5, I discuss how to evaluate the effect of the control of Parent-subsidiary Corporation. IN Part 6,I applied the theory in Part 4 and Party 5 in a case. The case is about CGGC and its subsidiary, Gezhouba Co. Ltd. During primary stage of the research, I got plenty of data and resources form the internet and the library, and I mailed 211 pieces of questionnaire to more than twenty enterprise group in China, such as CGGC, Haier Group, 102 of them is return and 87 one is valid. I adopt combination of quantitative analysis with qualitative analysis and theory analysis with case studying on research method in the thesis.
