Regional Difference Analysis Of China's Fertilizer Application And Effect On Grain Production

The chemical fertilizer is the grain of "food". The practice of fertilizer application in all countries has proved that the fertilizer, especially chemical fertilizer , is the fastest , most effective and important measure to increase production both in developed and in developing countries. As a huge population country , China has been facing great pressure from the following three related facts: the amount of farmland reduced year by year while the population increased continuously ,and the per person food consumption raised gradually during the process of economic development. It is the main method of the solution of food security that improving grain yield of per unit area . However, the boost production can not do without chemical fertilizer, and therefore the chemical fertilizer, similar to grain , is the special merchandise that not only plays an important role in the national economy and the people's livelihood , but also influences greatly the national political stabilization . The fertilizer application will be still the important method to ensure the sustainability of agricultural development for a long time in future China .Although it has gained big success in grain yield increase and soil improvement, there still exists a series of problems with the fertilizer application : intrinsic fertilizer application . Thus it can be seen that the fertilizer application has nonreplicable function in agricultural production but excessive or unreasonable fertilizer application will bring serious consequences . It is a very important question to discuss how to apply fertilizer reasonably and effectively . The thesis tried to describe the fundamental state of fertilizer production and use in China through quantitative analysis, and discussed the mechanisms and ways of fertilizer application in China through analyzing its envionment costs.Based on the above research findings , we put forward the following countermeasure : to adjust the fertilizer industry structure , namely , the product construction ,raw material construction .business enterprise construction and investment construction ; to perfect the fertilizer circulation and market service system ; to enhance import management ; both producer and distributor to set up self-determination criterion of price behavior; on the point of fertilizer application, to specially pay attention to the optimization of fertilizer construction ,crops and regional fertilizer distribution; to strongly expand scientific fertilizer application, and to improve the rate of fertilizer utilization thus to reduce its environmental contamination ; finally to enhance the fertilizer market management thus to gurrantee the ordered competition.
