The red flag car integration developing project is a developing mode using all the globeresource in the beginning, including most forward design, best technology and mostadvanced facilities, but our cost is only lump-sum payment. Whereas, we can't know wellabout the developing technology independently during a long time of the beginning ofintegration developing, with the supporting of globe resource, we can effectively shortentechnical gap with joint-venture product. Integration developing mode is a effectively wayto develop all country independent developing ability and improve enterprise corecompetence ability.Review the history of automotive industry independent developing in our country, wego through three phases: joint venture manufacture, copying and integration developing.Joint venture manufacture, we are controlled by foreign country company in technology.Copying, always come with the dispute of property right and the technology is also fallbehind. Integration developing, we got the property right, but we can't get the knowledge.When we talk about our country independent developing in automotive industry, we stillfaced many difficult problems: no-famous brand, less of experience, competence oftransnational corporation, no specific supporting national policy, and so on.For improving our own car brand –red flag and training our own car developing team, FAW and IDG integrated together to develop a next generation red flag. During this integration project, we have the property right of red flag, and improve the price of red flag brand. At the same time, we develop our own automobile developing team, and form our own car developing program.In the red flag car integration developing project, because of the region difference,language difference, culture difference, time difference and so on, there are all kinds of conflicts. In the styling feasibility analysis phase, the conflicts mainly focus on technical interchange. In the engineering phase, the conflicts mainly focus on technology, management, check and accept, responsibility and so on. These conflicts seriously affect the realization of project target.If behavior subjects seek self benefit, there will be oppose and struggle with othersubject, and then conflict occurred. Conflicts exist in everywhere of the project; they are theinevitable result of project structure. During red flag project, when some relationships arehard to adjust, that result in intensification of contradictions and behavior against. These arethe conflicts in the red flag car integration developing project.The existence of conflicts and hoping to achieve the project target are the motivation ofconflicts behavior. What kind of actions the subject will take are up to the conflicts analysisabout benefit, cost and risk. The result of conflict action and the other side reaction willinitiate new round conflict. General, the conflict behavior procedures are divided into fivestages:1. The premise conditions of conflict occurred: the first step is that exists someconditions that will result in conflict. These conditions are prerequisite, sometimes theconflict isn't occurred. These conditions are including project target unity, structure,communication and personnel factor.2. Occurrence of conflict: when these condition affect something one party care aboutnegatively, the opposition and unconformity will appear. When one party or multi partyrealize the conflict or feel the conflict, the conflict occurred.3. Behavior purpose of conflict: the behavior purpose is between the cognition, emotionand action. It means some decision of special behavior. Just after we know about onepersonnel action purpose, we will know what he will do. Some conflicts are continuallyupgraded; just because one side got wrong understand of the other side. The behaviorpurpose is divided into five phases: compete, cooperate, avoid, accommodate, and split thedifference.4. Action of conflict: The conflict action phase is including the explanation, action andattitude. It means, when one side act, the other side how to react. The conflict action arealways try to realize both side self expectation.5. Result of conflict: The behavior and actions of the both side of conflict will act andreact each other, which will also result in the conflict result. This result can improve theworking efficiency, also can reduce the working efficiency.After the anglicizing of conflict behavior in the red flag car integration developingproject, we will solve and manage the conflicts in the project from next aspects: projecttarget, project management procedure, role in the project, culture and personnel conflicts.1. How to deal with the conflict of project target. We should have a clear and define project target. Every party of the project should understand the project target clearly, and then they will execute the project target seriously. Generally, the project target should be target specific, participatory, and clear time table.2. How to deal with the conflict of project management procedure: Improving the project mangers'management ability. Establishing one management procedure for whole project team. Defining one unified project target and unified management ideal. All above will help us to eliminate the culture difference and conflicts, form the common goal, a cordial and harmonious work atmosphere, and then we will realize good cooperate of both sides.3.
