It is well known that to get an entrance ticket of WTO means chances as well as challenges for Chinese economy development. While setting ourselves in the tendency of globalization, we witnessed not only the rapid development of international container multi-modal transport but also the far distance existed between Chinese outdated midland container multi-modal transport industry and that of western countries. As a country with the biggest production and consumption capacity, the development of container multi-modal transport have already shown and will continue to show its' importance in the logistic enterprise. The management of railway container may play a crucial part to initiate the function of the midland container multi-modal transport.The present dissertation, based on the systematical comprehension of the current problems faced by Chinese logistic enterprise and a clear conception of the previous research in this discipline, aiming at making a systematic and thorough study of the management strategies of the railway container multi-modal transport problems, attempts to find a better management skills in the circumstance of trusting, so as to offer some suggestions for perfect our logistic enterprise, especially for the railway container multi-modal transport.It begins with a solid understanding of the definition of the container multi-modal transport and its function. After a comparative study between the characteristics of railway container transport and that of other container transport, it comes out with a conclusion that the key to improve the container multi-modal transport is to construct a strategic union with railway container as its core.Besides, we begin to see that the strategy is one of the most important factors in maximize the function of the multi-modal transport strategic ally.
