| How does a town make the choice of the Special features industries and seek the direction of the economic development? Based on the relevant theories of industrial economics, considering the characteristics of the towns, through analyzing the choice of the industries and the development of the regional economy, the paper especially do research on the typical town—GuJiao village of LongLi town in GuiZhou province. The paper analyzed the theories and practical evidence about the choice of predominant industries in the towns, how to enlarge the scale and speed up the development after the choice has been made, and put forward to the relevant policy and advice. In the case, GuJiao is just the place that I am working. So the research is very instructive in the theoretical and practical experiences for directing my work. I also hope that the research can provide a method for analysis and good experiences to the similar towns.
