Research On Environment Management In Eco-tourism Attractions

In 1980's of 20 century, because of the growth of population, shortage of resources and deterioration of environment, people were faced with serious crises of existence and people began to self-examine their faults of endless using nature resources. At the same time, a green wave to protect their own environment was initiated and the eco-tourism was started correspondingly.The eco-tourism represents the trend of the times and changes the traditional understandings of the resources and environment by the popular tourism, and eco-tourism provides a green way for sustainable development of tourism .For the 20 more years the eco-tourism has become the hotspot of tourism development. But everything have two sides. On the one hand if eco-tourist attractions have the scientific plan and effective management, ecotourism will help protect the environment and keep the eco-system stabilize. On the other hand if eco-tourist attractions have not, ecotourism will destroy the eco-system. So success in ecotourism must be by way of scientific plan and effective management. Environment management is a important part of the ecotourist attractions management and a crucial factor to protect the ecological, social, economic and cultural value in eco-tourist attractions. But at present the research in environment management of eco-tourist attractions is weak in China or abroad , not to mention the systemic research. This phenomenon can't adapt to the demand of eco-tourism development. So this paper will try to study the basic theory in environment management.This paper uses theories and methodologies in economics, eco-economics, principles of Management, study of tourism and ecotourism. The methods of study in this paper have synthesize literature, society investigation, combination of theory research and practice research.This paper have seven chapters. Chapter 1 is synopsis. Chapter 2 to chapter 6 is the main part of the paper. In the chapter 2 to chapter 5, the paper studies the system of environment management research. This research system was made up of the system of law, the systerm of ISO 14000 certification, daily supervising index, the visitor management, the management of carry capacity, the impacts valuation of environment and so on. In the chapter 6 exert the environment management theory in the Yangzhou Phoenix Isles Eco-tourism attractions.In the last chapter summarize main standpoint in the paper and point out some deficiency in the paper.The outcomes in this paper include establishing the research system of environment management, summarizing ten factors which decided the visitor's environment impacts, establishing the ecology and economic capacity model and the visitor optimal spatial density model, putting forward the innovation method ofenvironment management, including manager regimentation .. supervise regimentation the protection fund of important resources and the management system of environment crisis and so on.
