An Empirical Study On Enterprise Network Structure

From the eighties of the 20th century, with two sides civilian intercourse opening, the mainland legalizes the indirect investment of Taiwan trader gradually, More and more Taiwan enterprises invest in the mainland, presenting the " clustering " phenomenon of small and medium-sized enterprises in the invested area. Then an important hypothesis of the network structure of Taiwan-owned enterprises has been formed: The network structure of Taiwan-owned enterprises is among the Taiwan-owned enterprises mainly, in the other words, the network structure of Taiwan-owned enterprises don't extend to enterprises in the mainland. we name the hypothesis as " closed network structure " of Taiwan-owned enterprise in the mainlandThe forming of the network is determined by the environment. The relation among enterprises forms network structure. This text investigates the network structure and it's inside composing of Taiwan-owned enterprises of the textile industry in Shantou. This study paid close attention to the matter: How was the network relation among the Taiwan-owned enterprises produced and set up? How is the relation between them and local enterprises? Do they extend to local enterprises?Until now, many foreign scholars have carried on the theoretical and empirical research on network relation and structure, but in the mainland, because the research on network analysis rise up justly .the research involving empirical and quantitative analysis using network analytical method to analyze enterprise network is much less. This article carries on the empirical research on the network of Taiwan-owned enterprises with the network analytical method, from the research approach, it is a break-through.The research on the whole network structure of Taiwan-owned enterprise of textile industry in Shantou discovers that the whole network structure don't appear " close "state as hypothesis but appear "open" state .the Taiwan- owned enterprises has already begun to extend to local enterprises gradually. From the point of view of trade network, the network of Taiwan-owned enterprise has already " opened " to the local small and medium enterprises gradually, taking place the business relation with local enterprises frequently; From the point of view of social intercourse network, the network of Taiwan-owned enterprise remains "close" to local enterprises.The text studies the progress of the network of Taiwan-owned enterprise of textile industry in Shantou, representing a typical network of "style of opening " produced under the situation of weakly industrial relation. The text structures out evolutive model of network type of Taiwan-owned enterprise in the mainland .there are certain reference meanings to analyze the evolvement of network type of extraneous enterprises that invested in the mainland.
