The consumer protection movement in China has already been for 20 years. Consumer Rights Protection Law of PRC was implemented 10 years ago, which has offered the consumer rights authorized by the Law, and shown a further forward step on consumer protection campaign in China. The parties involved in this campaign include social groups, execution departments and hero protectors for rights as well as our media.Nowadays when our social ecology and media has already undergone dramatically changes, the thesis aims at reviewing the features and changes of our local newspaper on consumer rights protection during the ten years from the implementation of Consumer Rights Protection Law of PRC.With the contents analysis of the news reports ,1 hope to expose how the Chinese media construct the issue on the consumer protection and the changes of these issue and discover the function of the media in the process of the consumer movement (positive and negative effect analysis).Meanwhile, the thesis has research on how the media involves in the reports of consumer protection and presents the characteristics of the reports respectively and analyze the features of the concrete narrative of the media as the final conclusion.
