Consumers are the members of society who purchase or use of goods and receiveservices for personal purposes. The rights and interests of consumers means thatconsumers enjoy the rights and interests of consumers in the purchase of goods orservices. Nine rights of "Consumer Law" in China has made a series of detailedprovisions to consumers. China’s civil public interest groups (consumer associations,etc.), the executive (administrative department for industry and commerce, etc.), thejudiciary (the courts) are all dedicated to protect the interests of consumers. However,the way of China’s consumer rights is still difficult.The biggest obstacles of consumer rights protection is the high cost of rights.This thesis focuses on jurisprudence analysis of the high cost of consumer rightsprotection. The first chapter, analyse the current situation and elaborate the concept ofconsumer rights protection, and research its obstacles from consumers, operators andthe legal system. The second chapter, analyse the obstacles of consumer rightsprotection-the high cost, and analyse the individual cases. The third chapter, analysethe impact and the reason of the high cost of consumer rights protection from theprotection ways. The fourth chapter, put forward the countermeasures to solve thehigh cost consumer rights protection problems according to the chapter three’s reason.Chapters III and IV are the key points of this theis.
