With the development of economic globalization and technological progress , buyer' s market has been formed, and the competition between enterprises has developed into competition between whole supply chains. Under this situation, enterprises must realize low cost operation based on the satisfaction of customers rapidly and effectively , and this is exactly the difficult problem that numerous enterprises face. For this reason, we must do further research to the inventory control.The traditional inventory control methods concentrate on the control on individual enterprise's stock mainly, and seldom solve the stock problem from supply chain point, and this will impede the improvement of enterprise's competitiveness. This thesis studies the inventory control problem based on supply chain management emphatically. The first chapter introduces the background and meaning of the writing. The second chapter introduces relevant theories, including supply chain management and control theory of the stock. The third Chapter proposes three important solutions, such as information share, Business Process Reengineering and strategic partnership of the chain building macroscopicly on the basis of the analysis of the existing problem about the inventory control problem based on supply chain management. The fourth Chapter analyzes and studies three material inventory control measures based on supply chain management, such as VML JMI and CPFR. According to above, the fifth Chapter studies the multi-echelon inventory control model based on centre and the multi-echelon inventory control model based on conference mainly. Finally, it summarizes the content of studying in thesis, and looks forward to the direction of study on future for inventory control.
