Based On Supply Chain Inventory Management

With the globalization of market and economy, the management philosophy based on single enterprise can't win the competition in many conditions. Therefore, the traditional management is changed and gradually substituted by the horizontal management model. SCM (Supply Chain Management) that based on the extended enterprise is the right typical new management model, which manages all enterprises in the supply chain properly in order to obtain the maximum benefit of the total supply chain.Inventory Control is one of the most important subjects under SCM environment. Compared with the traditional inventory control, the modern inventory control has many new characteristics and requirements because the enterprise organization and management model has changed. Considering about the reasons mentioned above, this paper studies supplier production plan under VMI strategy and analyses the inventory control strategy of distributor with systematic theory, integrated theory and theory of constrain. Finally the new inventory control management model CPFR is developed. With the above research, this paper develops the prototype of inventory control system based on SCM with VB.NET and ASP.NET.
