Compensation system is an important part of human resource management. Nowadays, in the fierce competition of talents, modern enterprises should maintain the function of compensation system, pay more attention to its motivation so as to attract more talents and arouse the employee's initiative and thus make the enterprise highly competitive. Based on the scientific compensation management program, the enterprise should establish a compensation system that suitable to itself, which takes into consideration the important factors that affect the compensation programme, such as the object of the enterprise, the organizational structure, the market environment etc. When designing the compensation system, the enterprise should not only be internally consistent, externally competitive, individually faire, but also be stimulating and perfect in welfare system. Chuncheng company is a private enterprise. With the development of the company, the present compensation system can not meet the demand of the company. The imperfect compensation system greatly affected the initiative and innovative and potential of the employee and restricted the further development of the company. The present study is aimed to find out the main problem and analyze the reason of the compensation system of Chuncheng company through an investigation and analysis of the satisfaction of the present compensation system. Besides, based on the compensation theory, the paper set up the principles of compensation strategy and constitute a new compensation system and employee assessment programme so that the limited motivation resource of the company can be made full use of and the initiative of the employee can be greatly aroused and the company can be more competitive. This paper is divided into five parts: the fist part introduces the background and significance of the study and the framework of the paper. The second part is the review on the compensation theory. The third part is the analysis of compensation design. The fourth part makes an introduction on the characteristics of Chuncheng company and analyzes its external environment. The last part is related to the constitution of compensation system and discusses its effect.
