Supply chain Management breaks the boundary of a single enterprise. It takes the advantages of integration and time efficiency. Supply chain enterprises production planning has features, such as distribution, autonomy, cooperation and openness. It is difficult for the production planning to be controlled among the chain suppliers. On the basis of analysis on requirements of enterprises production planning system of supply chain management, the feasibility and necessity of applying multi-agent technology to supply chain enterprise is analyze A multi-agent and ERP based enterprises production planning system is proposed?In the first chapter of this paper, the state of the research on production planning system is outlined. This chapter also presents the research significant and the main content of the paper. The chapter 2 presents the conception of supply chain enterprise and supply chain enterprise management, and also main content of the research on supply chain enterprise management. The chapter 3 presents the conception of agent and multi-agent, and also main content of the research on multi-agent technology. In chapter 4,the basic principle of production planning adapted to supply chain management is discussed. Based on the strategies of supply chain enterprise's production planning, a new model of enterprise integration based on three level coordination mechanism is advanced. In the fifth chapter of the paper, discuss the feasibility and necessity of applying multi-agent technology to supply chain enterprise production planning system. In order to improve the flexibility and adaptability of production planning system of supply chain enterprise, a multi-agent and ERP based enterprises' production planning system is established.
