Hainan airline is the first joint venture of civil aviation of china, and is the one ofthe four companies that pass the CAAC121, and also the first civil aviation enterprisethat pass the ISO9000 Quality System Certification . Hainan airline was founded in1992, with the excellent service ,good management and untiring strive.Hainan airlinebecame the leader of local civil aviation enterprises .after foundation ,Hainan airline gotmany glories, such as eight years'of profit ,the rate of flight on time is higher than othercompany, accident rate is very lower in industry, have no incident , got the number oneof "million travelers comment on civil aviation"for 3 years continually.As a new corporate of civil aviation , Hainan airline doesn't satisfied with what hehas achieved , also doesn't reconcile to stay in Hainan island. In 2000, CAACannounced that three aviation groups would be established and at the same time theywould establish large "aviation hinge"and "hinge-radiation". along with the enter ofWTO, foreign aviation companies would share Chinese market sooner or later .Hainanairline must take some effective methods to change the disadvantage environments ofdomestic competition and decrease the threat of entrance of large foreign companies, orhe will be abandoned by the market!Hainan airline had grasped the opportunity before CAAC establish the otherthree aviation groups . Hainan airline acquired ShanXi airline,XinHua airline andChangAn airline. Hainan airline had became the number four largest airline group ofchina with 104 airplanes and 8 bases in 2004, and can compete with the other threeaviation companies in scale, carry out the word of "four leg's chair is stable than havethree one"!In the two years, Hainan airline had acquired three other aviation companies, sohow to take effective integration that turn the economic of scale advantage intocompetitive advantage will be a huge problem for Hainan airline!Hainna airline hold good vision ,the speed of integration, effectivecommunications and risky management are the key elements of integration, andmore ,they carry out the integration in the following aspects with two critera: effect andefficiency:Human resource integration: according to the actual of the corporate beingmerged , advocate a slogan :change the minds in stead of change the person! Throughthe training and leading of employees ,adjust the management structure ,reform thesalary system, use the new management system ,and so on ,change the traditional modethat merged a company and fired most of his people in this way ,Hainan airline keepsall the staff but still increasing the productivity!The integration of airplane, geography and flight line: Hainan airline establishedthe largest lateral aviation company according to the difference of geography ,thedifference of flux and the consumer preference of different airplane ,meanwhile ,organized the main flight line in shanghai ,Beijing airport ,and established the hingeflight line net with the combination of lateral and main flight line initially.The integration of Maintenance: share the maintenance resources, reform theoperation station to decrease the cost and increase the efficiency of maintenance .The integration of aviation equipment: set up a single aviation equipment supplycenter to decrease the fix cost.Culture integration: culture integration is a big problem for every company,Hainan airline has a proper recognition of the difference between the mergedcorporations and themselves, but they found they have the similar base of the culture. so...
