The competition of automobile industry is the competition of quality and price at last. With consumption standard increasing, consumer is more and more picky for product quality .All kinds of automobile manufactory have realized quality's importance and improved product quality by means of various ways. If only high-quality automobile products, we can win customers and market, quality has become one of enterprise core competition.China entered officially into WTO more than three years, FAW is in a big position in China automobile industry, but it faced to challenge in product quality and function etc. from domestic and foreign competitor. Quality management expert of American, Dr. ZhuLan, said: in 21century, in this quality century, we must innovate in quality management so as to pursue world-class quality. FAW JIE FANG corporation has been established more than two years, many contradiction of the original company still exist and the new come into being again. The new and the old mix up, so sales situation become continually worse. The occupancy rate of market are constantly falling, the bad market situation has exterior and interior reason. In interior is question about product, management, product quality, etc. How to solve the present quality question make JIE FANG truck invincible and win honor for China, we must face these.By researching and comparing with domestic and foreign automobile quality management pattern, we can find gap and shortage, learn from foreign enterprise developed experience, connect with JIE FANG company character and need for market competition, follow product formation objective regulation and encircle company core business. We must establish quality management system to suit JIE FANG staff and total process based on product formation process, which there are theory and reality reference value for FAW and China national automobile industry. Now briefly illustrate as followed:1. Quality management developing present situation of automobile industry.(1) Automobile industry developing present situation.In developing present situation of automobile industry in the world show mainly international-oriented and cooperation-oriented developing trend and has formed 6+3pattern. At present, there are GM,FIAT,SUZUKI,SUBARU, ISUZU, Daewoo,FORD-Mazda-VOLVO,Daimler-Chrysler-Hyundail,Volkswagon,Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi,Toyota-Daihaitsu-Hino etc. six automobile corporations and represent for Citroen, Honda, BMW three independent automobile manufacturer. China automobile industry has been the fifth in the world. Government issue again in 2004 and make a define regulation. The coming ten years is when automobile consumption market will expand and automobile industry will integrate on a large scale.The competition environment in domestic truck market has new change. That is, the speed multinational company marching into China is increasing and there is Confused situation in China market now. FAW, DONGFENG, BEIQIFUTIAN, ZHONGGUOZHONGQI, ANQI, CHONGQINGHOENGYAN,BEIFANGBENCHI etc. the seven mainly heavy-truck company start capturing market violently.(2) Quality management in domestic automobile industryThe quality management system is divided into three layers in our automobile industry:The first level is China-foreign joint venture, which introduce technology as well as quality management method, so quality management standard is very high. For example, FAW-Volkswagon, Shanghai-Volkswagon, Shanghai-GM, Shenlongfukang.The second level is owned-stated super company, which they digest and absorb advanced management experience from foreign automobile enterprise and establish a set of quality management system connected with enterprise reality themselves and character of China quality management, but they was limited by quality management. Compared with foreign developed enterprise, they have some gap. For example, FAW, DONGFENG, ZHONGQI.The third is personal enterprise. Although they are able to accept foreign advanced quality management philosophy, quality management experience is insufficient, quality system does not perfect, quality management method is not appropriate and quality management standard relatively lag behind. Taking a sweeping view of our automobile industry quality management, we have gap compared with foreign enterprise and need further perfect quality system construction, which require us analyzing quality management pattern of foreign advanced automobile industry so as to suit us.2. Quality management pattern comparing and analysis of foreign automobile industry(1) Quality management character of VolkswagonHaving established quality guarantee flow of staff and all process, all kinds of department must operate according to flow, must slip over hurdle: select supplier, product engineering sample test, the first sample test, two-day production, A-levei plant (Volkswagon standard), company alliance supply plant. Thus they will become qualified supplier. Quality comes from plan and produce, don't from test. Quality is what consumer want to and must rely on consumer to evaluate. Only if consumer admit, quality has significant.(2) Quality management pattern of ToyotaQuality philosophy of Toyota: they think that quality guarantee's aim is not only delivery examination entirely and market question treatment quickly, but also plan product that make consumer satisfied , plan product that is easy to be made in factory and practice after-sales service to consumer satisfactory.Quality management specialty of Toyota: quality guarantee trace back to source, the period of design practice assessment strictly, the most important for the production preparedness is quality guarantee ability, quality information is basis of quality improving, the premise of quality guarantee is that all kinds of department cooperate and all staff reach a consensus. Toyota pursue consumer satisfied and we pursue product qualified.3. Analytic conclusion for FAW JIE FANG companyBy compared with JIE FANG and Volkswagon's quality management pattern, we can see that there are gap for JIE FANG in quality system construction and function aspect, reflecting on all kinds of period no relevant quality duty finished, which the reason exist in: quality system was not perfect and quality system was not in real area.4. The quality management pattern's design in FAW JIE FANG(1) The basis of design: through analysis, we think that quality pattern of Volkswagon is suit to JIE FANG, so we established JIE FANG quality pattern according to Volkswagon.(2) The principle of design: controlling in all period, function clearing, flow smoothing, quality promoting.(3) The carrying out step: stage one is two-level management, organization merging; stage two is realizing organization integration according to plan design (staff translation in terms of organization, not running by position, no lay-off); stage three is end-plan realization that staff go to the work by competition...
